Strongbow stickers & GIFs
Challenge
Have you noticed there is no emoji for cider – while beer has two? We felt it was time for more cider visibility in the social conversation, and that Strongbow – the world’s #1 premium cider – should lead the charge.
Approach
Leveraging World Cider Day, we launched a suite of fun social-friendly stickers and GIFS, encouraging Strongbow (and cider!) fans around the world to share the cider love and get sticker-happy. As we uploaded them to both GIPHY and Tenor, this mean our assets were available for use across most social and digital platforms.
Results
The reception since World Cider Day on 3 June 2019 has been fantastic, with results achieved purely organically.

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery; since launch, a number of competitor brands have followed suit, with Somersby, Orchard Thieves and Koppaberg all having launched their own branded stickers. Given our aim of increasing cider visibility – the more the merrier!
